One person runs this site — you will be writing directly to me
This site is built and maintained by a single person (see the about page), so there is no support desk and no ticket system — just an email address that I read.
What is worth writing about
- A mistake in the word list. A wrong reading, a kanji that should not be there, or a translation that is off in any of the seven languages. These are the most useful messages I get — please include the word number if you can.
- Printing problems. If your printer produces something the guides do not explain, tell me the printer model and what happened. Several settings in the tool exist because someone reported a problem.
- A feature you actually need. Not everything gets built, but every suggestion is read.
- A new language. If you would like the cards and the site in a language that is not yet offered, and you are willing to help check the translation, get in touch.
- Using it in a classroom. Teachers are welcome to use the tool with students; if something about the workflow does not fit a classroom, I would like to know.
Before you write
Two questions come up constantly and are already answered:
- Is it really free? Yes — no account, no payment, no limits.
- The backs do not line up with the fronts. That is your printer's stacking order. The tool has two checkboxes for it, and the flashcard guide explains how to find the right combination once.
Privacy of your message
Your email is used only to answer you. It is not added to a mailing list, not shared and not used for anything else. See the privacy policy for how the site itself handles data (short version: it does not collect any).
